Refusing any register or other document to produce on the demand of an Inspector or preventing any person from appearing before or being examined by an inspector | Imprisonment upto 3 months and / or fine Rs. 500. |

Contravening any provision of this Act or of any rules made thereunder, prohibiting, restricting or regulating the employment of persons in a motor transport undertaking | Imprisonment upto 3 months and / or fine Rs. 500. In case of continuing offence, additional fine upto Rs. 75 per day |

Willful disobeying any direction lawfully give under this act or any other contravention of the act not provided for separately. | Imprisonment upto 3 months and / or fine Rs. 500. |
