Even if you have a main registration in Delhi, has to have sub-code registrations in the appropriate areas where he has client sites. The inspector who visits the site is from that local area and not from Delhi. This has become an issue at many ESIC inspections. |

| 43 | What is difference between Temporary Insurance Card and Permanent Insurance Card?
Temporary Insurance Card (TIC) is generated online from ESI website of the organisation registered under ESI mentioning all the demographic, wages, contribution details of the employee. The said TIC is valid for 13 weeks only and employee is supposed to register for permament card within the period. Permanent Insurance Card (PIC) is issued by ESI department after TIC and biometric fingerprints of the employee and family members are recorded by the nearest ESI local office. The vendor should encourage the employees to register and record biometric registration along with family mebers details oce the TIC is issued. |
