Description	The state has announced revised working conditions under the Factories Act, exempting from Sections 51, 54, 55, and 56 for a period of 3 months. The revised conditions include: i. Adults can work for a maximum of 12 hours a day, and 72 hours a week; ii. periods of rest such that no one works longer than six hours without being allowed a minimum rest of half an hour iii. wages in proportion to Himachal Pradesh minimum wages under Minimum Wage Act; iv. Section 59 on overtime remains same.
