Act Meghalaya Shops and Establishments Act
Description Through press release No. 275/21, the Government of Meghalaya has declared a paid public holiday on 30th October 2021. This is applicable to all employees in educational institutions, government offices, shops, trade, industrial undertakings and establishments in 13-Mawryngkneng (ST) and 24-Mawphlang (ST) constituencies in East Khasi Hills, and 47-Rajabala Assembly Constituency in West Garo Hills District. This is to facilitate voting for the bye elections.
