Action to be taken:
To transfer a workman from one state to another
a) only with the consent of the workman unless a specific provision exists to the contrary in the appointment letter,
b) Provide reasonable notice and joining time to such a workman.
c) Pay the workman a travelling allowance including transport charges and 50% thereof to meet incidental charges
d) Ensure that wages, grade, continuity of service and other conditions of service are not adversely affected by the transfer

Audit Requirement:
Have all Inter State Transfers been made in Compliance with the Standing Orders Act ?
