Section:Sch 1-B (5) :Medical Aid In Case Of Accident

Obligation : To provide immediate medical aid at the employers expense when a workman meets with an accident in the course of or arising out of employment

Type:Trigger Frequency: Quarterly

Action to be taken:
Provide immediate medical aid and any further treatment required when a workman meets with an accident in the course of or arising out of employment at the employers expense. Where the workman is entitled to treatment and benefits under the ESIS Act or Workmen's Compensation Act, arrange for treatment or compensation as required.

Audit Requirement:
Has immediate medical aid been provided in case of an accident to a worker in the course of employment ?
