Action to be taken:
A workman is bound to present himself for a medical examination under the Workmens Compensation Act. If the employee is available on the premises, the employer can require him to submit himself for a free medical examination. Otherwise, the employer may send a medical practitioner to the workmans residence or offer the workman in writing to be medically examined free of charge. In these cases the employee has to attend the examination except between 7pm and 6am or where the workers condition makes it impossible to travel.
