Action to be taken:
Before the 30th April of every year, every registered trade union connected with an industrial establishment, shall communicate to the employers, the names and addresses of the employees who are officers in the union, who should be recognised as protected worker. The employer has to designate such workmen as protected workmen, subject to the maximum number permissible, within 15 days of the receipt of the names and addresses from the union. Where more than one registered trade union exists, the maximum number shall be distributed among the unions in proportion to their membership.
