Action to be taken:
If it is desired to retrench a workman under Section 25N, make an application or notice in Form PA in triplicate and serve it on the Central Government or the prescribed authority either personally or by registered post A/D. Submit a copy of the application/notice to the workman concerned, and a proof to that effect should be submitted with the application. The employer has to provide the authority all additional information it needs to grant or refuse permission.

Has prior permission been obtained from the government before retrenching any employees under Section 25N ?
