Type:Preventive Compliance
Frequency: Half Yearly
Action to be taken:
Where the process of grinding is carried on, ensure that
(a) the maximum safe working peripheral speed, (b) the speed of the shaft upon which the wheel is mounted and (c) the diameter of the pulley required to maintain the safe revolving speed
of every revolving vessel, cage, basket, flywheel, pulley, disc or similar appliance driven by power is clearly marked next to the machine.
Put measures in place to ensure that safe working peripheral speed of such machines is not exceeded
Audit Requirement:Are effective measures in place to ensure that the safe working speed of all revolving machinery is not exceeded ?
