Action to be taken:
Display a notice which clearly shows the periods during which child workers are required to work. Where all child workers are not required to work the same periods, the notice should specify periods for each group of children and the number of children in that group. Where shifts are employed, periods of work should be specified for each relay, and if shifts are liable to change in a predetermined manner, the notice should display the shift scheme such that each relay knows the period of work for any day. No changes in the period of work can be made without the prior approval of the Inspector, and for one week after the prior change.

(1) There shall be displayed and correctly maintained in every factory in which children are employed, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 108 a notice of periods of work for children, showing clearly for every day the periods during which children may be required or allowed to work.
(2) The periods shown in the notice required by sub-section (1) shall be fixed beforehand in accordance with the method laid down for adult workers in Section 61, and shall be such that children working for those periods would not be working in contravention of any of the provisions of Section 71.
(3) The provisions of sub-section (8), (9) and (10) of Section 61 shall apply also to the notice required by sub-section (1) of this section.
