    ABOUT THE ACT

    Objectives:

    The Apprenticeship Rules gives effect to various provisions of the Apprentices Act

    Applicability

    The Apprenticeship Rules apply to all factories and establishments to which the Apprentices Act applies

    Applicability of Parent Act

    The Apprentices Act extends to the whole of India. Its provisions apply to areas or industries specified by the Central Government by notification in the Official Gazette. The act shall not apply to an area or an industry until it is specified by notification.
