Act | "Act" means the Payment of Gratuity Act,1972; |

Appellate Authority | "appellate authority" means the Central Government or the authority specified by the Central Government under sub-section (7) of Section 7; |

Form | "Form" means a form appended to these rules; |

Nominationr | "nomination" means nomination made under Section 6; |

Section | "section" means a Section of the Act. |
