Inspector | To enforce the provisions of the Scheme | For the purpose of ascertaining compliance with the Act, inspectors can (a) require furnishing of information (b) enter any office/establishment/factory at a reasonable time and examine documents (c) Examine any employee or official (d) Make copies |
Local Office/Regional Office | To act as a subordinate office of the corporation and carry out duties as assigned to in in its jurisdiction, To issue claim forms, process payments of benefits |
