To carry out such powers and duties of investigation as may be prescribed in relation to complaints against medical practitioners in connection with medical treatment and attendance

Regional and Local Boards, Committees and Councils
|
Regional Boards, Local Committees and Regional and Local Medical Benefit Councils are appointed by the Corporation to assist in the implementation of the Act

Such powers and functions as may be provided by the regulations

Inspector
|
To implement and enforce the provisions of the Act
|
Call for information, enter any premises at a reasonable time, examine accounts, books and other documents, examine any person, and make copies of or take extracts from ant document

Recovery Officer
|
An officer authorised by the Central or State Government to recover dues from Employers
|
On receipt of a certificate from an authorised officer, to recover amounts due from the employer
|
|
Employees Insurance Court
|
To decide on disputes and claims arising out of the Act
|
Adjudication of disputes & claims relating to the Act
|
