ABOUT THE ACT

Objectives:

The Working Journalists Act aims to regulate certain conditions of service of working journalists and other persons employed in newspaper establishments.

Applicability

The Act extends to the whole of India. It applies to Newspaper Employees employed in any newspaper establishment.
